Blind Faith

Creation started in darkness; God then spoke light into existence. Every new day starts in darkness at midnight; the starting of the new day is not easily known in the early hours. It’s not until we see the sun begin to rise that we are certain it’s a new day. And, during the New Moon phase, the moon appears invisible to us because it is positioned between the sun and the Earth; it is in alignment with the sun, fully illuminated, but this positioning makes it appear dark on Earth. We eventually see the full illumination later in the phase, when it has transitioned to the Full Moon. Thus, though we generally expect darkness at the ending, it often symbolizes the beginning!

The darkness can make us feel uncertain because we cannot see what’s ahead. We have to rely on faith and not sight! How do we have faith in the darkness? “…We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28 NLT) Even when we cannot see it, we must believe that God is working all things for our good!

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” ) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:35-39 NLT)

Reflect on all He has blessed you with to remember He is a way maker! Even when we don't see it, He is working! Even when we don't feel it, He is working! He never stops working! So, don’t let the darkness waver your faith, making you believe it’s the end. You may very well be at the beginning of your next miracle!

Walk by faith, not by sight!

  • Your message was heartfelt with the most sincere thoughts of love! For me, the “Blind” in Blind Faith enters in the realm of existential phenomenology! Exploring the presence of the darkness and it’s meaningful existence will increase the understanding of it’s true nature and purpose! Undoubtedly, “faith” is the light that allows us to navigate though times of uncertainty! Faith is action and it’s a verb! Thanks for sharing! Continue the path of the “Ultimate Peaceful Warrior”! Peace!
    God Bless!

  • Amen… God is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent… He can do Anything but fail. Every Day holds the POSSIBILITY of receiving your MIRACLE … TRUST GOD… and walk by Faith, not by Sight.

Without FAITH it is Impossible to please GOD, because anyone who comes to Him must BELIEVE that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Believe, Trust, and Obey GOD… He Cares For You.
