Perfect
"But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect." -Matthew 5:48 NLT
Today is the 7th anniversary of Authentic Existence®; I was up at midnight when it became official. I felt emotional when it happened - I went into my prayer closet and I cried. These weren't happy tears; they were tears of joy. Doing this work has cost me a lot (Luke 14:25-33); even as I typed those words, tears welled in my eyes and streamed down my face again. But I am reminded of what Jesus endured and I keep going (Hebrews 12:1-3), though I thought I would be further along.
I went back in my prayer closet before my day job and I just sat silent. God started helping me remember how He has used me in situations to represent Him to others (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). Then I looked at the video of what I said when I announced Authentic Existence® to my family and friends: I invited them to be blessed through Authentic Existence®, even if they never purchased any of my products; I committed to always have a component of my business that would freely give - using the talent God has given me to communicate the messages He puts upon my heart with the world.
Saying what God has told me to say has developed my faith (2 Corinthians 4:13); I will eat of the fruit of my lips - I will see what I say (Proverbs 18:21). So, even though right now things don't look like I imagined, I believe God - through His mighty power at work within me - will do more than I can imagine or think (Ephesians 3:15-20).
Filled with the righteous character of Jesus (Philippians 1:6-11; Galatians 5:22-23), His perfect love (1 John 4:18) has allowed me to LOVE; love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8) - it’s how I am able to boldly reflect the light of the "Son" (Psalm 37:6).
By coming to the light (John 3:16-21), I will lead many to righteousness and shine forever (Daniel 12:3). I will see myself as God sees me - perfectly (1 Corinthians 13:12-13).
Yet, flaws and all, in this world I can look carefully into the perfect law that sets me free to do what I have been called to do (James 1:22-25). God has promised me that when I see all that is accomplished from my anguish, I will be satisfied (Isaiah 53:10-11). So, I will remain dedicated to "Helping You See Who God Designed You To Be!™"
Authentic Existence® Affirmation: I am perfect for the assignment God has for me!
Heavenly Father, thank You for using me in Your plan. Please help me follow Your perfect instructions (Psalm 19:7). May I hear Your messages in Your love language to me (Psalm 19:1-4). Speak to my heart so it may respond (Psalm 27:8) and shine for Your glory (2 Corinthians 4:6-7). The suffering (2 Corinthians 4:8-12) is part of Your good plan (Isaiah 53:10-11) for me to testify about Your goodness - so I will open my mouth and speak (2 Corinthians 4:13), in Jesus' Name, Amen...so be it!
