DEI: Defying Erroneous Information™️
What do you see when you look at me?
Can you tell I graduated Magna Cum Laude?
Though I don't really use my ChemE degree,
Because God had business cut out for me.
Can you tell I graduated Magna Cum Laude?
Though I don't really use my ChemE degree,
Because God had business cut out for me.
So, I got my MBA,
Then on my way.
To get my PMP®️,
Though it wasn’t easy.
While it did prepare me,
For the plans He had for me.
It’s only by His grace,
That I’m running my race.
He’s transformed them into my story,
In a way that gives Him glory.
For me to no longer care,
What people think of me when they stare.
It’s not about me,
It’s about the victory;
Through Christ’s blood shed for thee,
On the cross at Calvary.
Through His sacrifice I win,
So I refuse to sin,
By falling victim to hate;
I won’t take the bait.
Instead I’ll use the opportunity,
To spread a message of unity.
Using my gifts,
To help settle rifts.
Though I am very smart,
I’ve learned it’s about my heart.
Only then can I be wise;
By letting God advise.
He said this is the time,
To release my shine!
Using my brilliance,
To encourage resilience.
I can’t get weary in doing good,
Because my value is misunderstood.
I won’t waste what it cost,
For me to shine my light on the lost.
This is how I’ll defy,
These erroneous lies.
By sharing the truth that set me free,
Overcoming by His blood and my testimony!
